THE RODS: Footage From SOUTH TEXAS ROCK FEST Available

May 25, 2009

Fan-filmed video footage of the original lineup of THE RODS — the classic '80s metal band led by Ronnie James Dio's (DIO, BLACK SABBATH, HEAVEN & HELL) cousin, guitarist David "Rock" Feinstein — performing at the South Texas Rock Fest in San Antonio, Texas on May 23, 2009 can be viewed below (courtesy of "JohnEbrownTX").

THE RODS was scheduled to shoot its very first HD-DVD at the legendary The Haunt nightclub in Ithaca, New York on May 16. This performance was in support of THE RODS' forthcoming CD, "Vengeance", which features Ronnie James Dio's vocals on selected tracks. The show was also a precursor to the band's appearance at Headbangers Open Air in Germany.

THE RODS' lineup includes Feinstein on guitar/vocals, Garry Bordonaro on bass and Carl Canedy on drums.
